I am a licensed Elementary Math teacher. After graduating from college, I moved back to Boston to get my Master's in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University, certifying me as an Elementary teacher. After working in various classrooms, I found my passion for teaching math after becoming a middle school math teacher. In this role, I discovered my love for teaching students new theories and solving equations together. I took this love of math and applied it to my former elementary teaching experience and became an Elementary Math Interventionist.
In this role, I was able to further my math skills and take opportunities to learn best practices from colleagues and professional development opportunities. Over the past few years, I've honed in on my skills to tailor lessons to individual and small group needs, while building strong relationships with my students.
My goal is to provide excellent academic and emotional support to my students, helping them overcome their math anxiety. In my one-to-one and small group sessions, I aim to make students feel safe so they are comfortable asking me questions and taking risks while learning.
